The NBA isn’t far from being back, and in order to get fans excited about what’s to come, the league has announced that it will release the complete 2019-20 schedule next week. The announcement will come on Monday, August 12 at 3pm EST, according to Tomer Azarly.

The announcement will also come with its national television schedule, so fans will also have a good understanding of just how many games their favorite team will have in primetime next week. Thanks to their acquisition of superstar free agent Kawhi Leonard, it’s likely the Los Angeles Clippers will see a big uptick in national games, and with Anthony Davis on the Los Angeles Lakers now, expect their number of games to be about equal to the large number it was last year.

Likewise, it’s safe to assume that the Golden State Warriors will see their national television games dip a bit, considering the lack of both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson when the team starts its season. Other than that, it’s a mystery as to what teams will get featured more, and what games fans will be circling as the must-watch contests.

Earlier last week, the NBA also released the list of matchups that fans will get to see on Christmas Day, with many of them being marquee matchups between some of the best teams in the league. Soon, we’ll have the entire schedule to look at, and it will be just one step closer to the NBA being back, as training camp approaches.
