The New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks have pulled off a blockbuster trade involving Kristaps Porzingis, and players across the league are still stunned by what just happened.

The Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee to the Mavs in exchange for DeAndre Jordan, Dennis Smith Jr. and Wesley Matthews. Draft picks are also involved.

Once the trade was announced on Twitter, players took it to social media to express their disbelief to what has just transpired.

As you can see, some players are shocked, while others are just laughing. This trade escalated rather quickly. Kristaps Porzingis reportedly had a meeting with the front office in New York where he wanted to get some clarity on what the franchise was going to do to improve the team.

Apparently, that meeting didn't go well, as Porzingis is now headed to Dallas to team up with Mavs rookie Luka Doncic. The Knicks will likely look to buyout DeAndre Jordan and Wesley Matthews, while they finally have their point guard of the future in Dennis Smith Jr.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7. Hopefully, this isn't the only trade that takes place because the reactions from players when big trades happen is great content. Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis could be the next star player on the move.
