The NBA just held its annual Rookie Photo Shoot on Sunday, and there was one young gun in particular who stood out. It was not overall first pick Deandre Ayton and his burly arms, nor was it Trae Young and his larger-than-life confidence.

Surprisingly, it was San Antonio Spurs guard Lonnie Walker that caught much of the day's attention, and it was thanks, in most part, to his unconventional hair style.

Walker's “Pineapple” do has grabbed the headlines once again, as it has in the past. His floating hat on draft day was one of the most memorable moments of that evening, and perhaps the one that generated the most memes. Here's one of the best as a reminder:

Walker is perhaps the only legitimate contender to New Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton's avant-garde hairdo. Payton may have just met his match, and we just can't wait until these two face off on the court this season.

The photo shoot had the mandatory class picture, and despite the fact that Walker was on the far side of the shot, he was simply unmissable.

Coming out of a one-year stint with the University of Miami wherein he averaged 11.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 27.8 minutes per contest, Walker was selected 18th overall by the Spurs in last June's draft. He hopes to force his way into a crowded Spurs backcourt, and will hopefully compete for minutes with the likes of Patty Mills, Dejounte Murray, Manu Ginobili, and Marco Belinelli.
