Sasha Vujacic, who won two titles with the Los Angeles Lakers, is eyeing for an NBA comeback next season.
Per Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times, Vujacic, 35, has been working out daily in Los Angeles.
Sasha Vujacic, who played in Italy last season, is working out daily in Los Angeles with an eye towards playing in the NBA next season. “The Machine,” who played for the Knicks in 2017, won two championships with the Lakers and said it would be his dream to play in L.A. again.

Vujacic was the 27th overall pick by the Lakers back in 2004. He spent six and a half seasons donning the Purple and Gold, snagging two titles along the way with Laker great Kobe Bryant. In Game 7 of 2010 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, Vujacic knocked down two clutch free throws with 11 seconds left to give his team a safe four-point cushion.
After his tenure with the Lakers, he played for the New Jersey Nets, LA Clippers, and the New York Knicks. Though he remained a legitimate threat from deep, the 6-foot-7 Slovenian struggled to find consistency. In his NBA career, he averaged 5.3 points on 39 percent from the field and 36.7 from deep, as well as 1.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
He suited up for the Fiat Torino in the Lega Serie A in the 2017-2018 season. He averaged 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists across 28.6 minutes of play. He shot 37.2 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from deep.
Last season, Vujacic reportedly tried out for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the New Orleans Pelicans.
