The Pistons and Warriors will play on Tuesday as Golden State searches for rhythm after losing three of their last four games. Detroit had won three of their last four before getting blown out by the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. Stephen Curry is now off of the injury report for the Warriors after missing the last game, while Draymond Green remains out with a calf injury. The Warriors come into this one as huge home favorites despite the absence of Green.

Here is how FanDuel has set the Pistons-Warriors odds for this Tuesday NBA matchup.

Why The Pistons Could Cover The Spread

The Pistons have been better of late, as rookie phenom Cade Cunningham continues to improve and show off his talents as the season unfolds. Detroit has been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season as they play without Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk, two guys who were set to be big contributors on this team coming into the season. The Pistons are 10-32 on the season by 5-5 in their last ten games. Detroit could be a sneaky play here as big underdogs.

Detroit vs. the spread

The Pistons are 20-22 vs. the spread this season, going 18-20 against the line as an underdog. Detroit is 9-12 against the spread as an away dog, and 5-5 vs. the line in their last ten games overall.

Why The Warriors Could Cover The Spread

The Warriors could have a good chance at a cover and a win here as Stephen Curry is back in the lineup for this one. Golden State is laying quite a few points here though, so be careful riding with them in this spot. The Pistons have been scrappy of late and the Warriors have hit a bit of a skid without Draymond Green while trying to integrate Klay Thompson. Gary Payton II and Moses Moody are listed as questionable for Golden State, while James Wiseman remains out in addition to Green. Wiseman is yet to play this season.

Golden State vs. the spread

The Warriors are 24-17-2 against the spread so far this season, going 3-7 vs. the line across their last ten games. Golden State has covered just once in their past four games, and twice in their last seven.

Final Pistons-Warriors Prediction and Pick:

Take the Pistons and the points in this spot, as the Warriors have not been playing great of late. 15 points is far too many to lay in this spot, even vs. a Detroit team that was just blown out by nearly 30 in their last game. The NBA is an up-and-down league, take the Pistons with the points. Until the Warriors hit their stride again, it feels unwise to lay this many points vs. team who is playing .500 ball over their last ten games.

Final Pistons-Warriors Prediction & Pick: Pistons +15 (-108)
