After an uncharacteristically and relatively quiet past couple of weeks in the world of NBA Top Shot, the folks over on Dapper Labs finally provided their pack-starved users with the details of the upcoming Metallic Gold LE rare pack drop.

On Thursday, it was officially announced in a blog post that the final MGLE pack is set to drop on Monday. Full details on the pack below:

  • Pack drops: Monday, June 7 at 2:00 PM PDT
  • Pack cost: $24
  • Packs per collector: 1
  • Total packs: 5,346

It is also worth noting that rebound packs will be available for all collectors who won't be lucky enough to snag an MGLE pack.

Perhaps the most talked-about element of this upcoming pack drop is the collector score required for one to be eligible for the pack. According to the Top Shot blog post, a minimum collector score of 2,500 is required in order to be eligible for this drop. Users will have until Monday, June 7, 12:00 PM PDT to increase their collector scores.

The price point of this rare pack is also worth talking about. Previous MGLE packs were priced at $99 each, so at just $24 this time around, NBA Top Shot has provided a significant discount on this particular item. According to the blog post, the $24 price point is a “one-time return to our Series 1 Premium Pack prices as a continuation of our #ThankYouFans campaign.”

The most coveted moment unique in this drop has got to be that insane Brooklyn Nets play from the regular season. I know you know what I'm talking about here. That eye-popping sequence serves as an embodiment of the Nets' dominance this season, and users will have an opportunity to immortalize that moment in their collections.

A Chris Paul game-winning moment against the New York Knicks will also be included in the drop, as well as a Tyrese Haliburton step-backl four-point play.
