The Denver Nuggets versus Utah Jazz first-round series was indeed the most exciting match-up in the 2020 NBA playoffs so far. With that said, it was only fitting that the exhilarating seven-game series ended in the most chaotic way possible.

Denver managed to claw back from a 3-1 deficit and stun the Jazz in Game 7 on Tuesday, 80-78, at the AdventHealth Arena. With the game knotted at 78 with under 30 ticks left in regulation, the Nuggets relied on All-Star center Nikola Jokic to put them in the driver's seat.

With explosive scorer Jamal Murray figuring in an off night, The Joker posted up two-time NBA DPOY winner Rudy Gobert and flashed a series of herky-jerky footwork before converting on an awkward-looking right hook.

The Nuggets appeared to seal the victory after Garry Harris poked the ball away from Donovan Mitchell in the ensuing possession. However, things only got more interesting. Instead of milking the clock, Denver elected to capitalize on a 4-on-1 fastbreak to put the game away.

Murray dropped the ball off to Torrey Craig, who somehow managed to miss the point-black look with under five seconds left.

With no more timeouts, the Jazz quickly pushed the ball downcourt and Mike Conley took it upon himself to launch a 3-pointer at the left wing. The ball appeared to be half-way in before it rimmed out, allowing the Nuggets players to let out a huge sigh of relief.

It is worth noting that Mitchell was wide open in that final possession and was actually calling for the ball. That cardiac finish will definitely go down as one of the craziest sequences in NBA playoff history.
