The BIG3 kicked things off on Saturday night with a bang. One of the first matchups of the new season was a contest between Bivouac and Enemies, during which a heated scuffle took place between two former NBA players in Josh Smith and Royce White:

The game was pretty intense early on, and this particular incident went down during the first quarter. The ugly confrontation almost came to blows, and it's a good thing their teammates were able to step in to prevent the scuffle from further escalating.

The altercation led to both players being thrown out, with neither men able to log any counting stats on the evening, save for White's single assist.

Things eventually calmed down, and in the end, it was Smith's Bivouac that came out on top 50-43 to log their first win of the new campaign. Former Detroit Pistons guard Will Bynum led the way with 22 points and three rebounds, while Anthony Morrow also chipped in 16 points and five boards.

For Enemies, former Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Craig Smith was the lone bright spot, logging an impressive 26-point, 11-rebound double-double.

As for Smith and White, this happened to be the BIG3 debut for both players, and it obviously did not go according to plan. We last saw Smith in the NBA back in the 2017-18 season with the New Orleans Pelicans, but he was only able to suit up for a grand total of three contests for the squad.

For his part, White made a splash in the BIG3 by being selected first overall in this season's draft. The former Sacramento Kings forward even went as far as comparing himself to LeBron James, but it seems that we will need to wait a bit more to see if he can prove himself.
