The Denver Nuggets played well against the Portland Trail Blazers, and Nikola Jokic was an instrumental piece that helped the Nuggets win. However, his attention (as well as the rest of the stadium) became fixated on him when he talked to Jusuf Nurkic after the game.

Dime showcased footage of the two talk it out after the Nuggets' 114-99 triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers. Nurkic still hasn't recovered from his leg fracture, and it's likely that he'll spend the rest of the season rehabbing himself back to health.

With the big man still out, Jokic probably had some good words to say about his colleague. The moment was pretty great for everyone who saw it happen.

Kristen Low of NBA on TNT asked Jokic about their interaction and what he thinks of the Bosnian big man.

The Serbian giant had nothing but praise to say with regards to his fellow big man.

“I'm just glad that he's doing okay,” Joker said. “I saw that he's lost some weight, so I'm really happy for him that he's gonna come back and play basketball again.”

The two aren't only connected due to the fact that they're both Europeans playing hoops in the United States. Their countries–Serbia and Boznia and Herzegovina–were once part of Yugoslavia. Since their countries are neighbors, they share common ground as people.

Jokic had a terrific game against the Blazers. He finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists on a 50% shooting clip. However, he needs to keep this level of play up if he wants the Nuggets to make it to the playoffs.
