The Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers squared off for the first time this season and reuniting best friends Boban Marjanovic and Tobias Harris. The “Bobi and Tobi” Show met each other during the Mavs-Sixers shootaround and shared a few hugs and greetings.

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, DeMar Derozan and Kyle Lowry and Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic. Various best friends have teamed up in the NBA at some point in time. On Friday, two of the NBA's best reunited.

Harris and Marjanovic were teammates for two seasons playing for the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers and Sixers from 2016 – 2019. The duo were involved in trades together twice.

Affectionately known as ‘Bobi and Tobi', the two went their separate ways in 2019 after Harris resigned with the Sixers and the 7-foot-4 Marjanovic signed a two-year, $7 million deal with the Mavs.

With the Mavs and Sixers facing off on Friday in Philadephia, the two friends would meet as opponents for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

This season, Harris is averaging 19.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game on 48.8 percent shooting from the field and 31.7 percent from deep. Harris' nearly 20 points per game ranks second on the team behind Joel Embiid. After signing a big five-year, $180 million contract this offseason, the 6-foot-8 forward is playing an important role for the team.

Despite being one of the most polarizing players in the NBA, Marjanovic has only played sparingly for Dallas this season. The seventh-year pro out of Serbia has only appeared in 11 of the Mavs' 27 games this season playing just 11.9 minutes per game. In those minutes, Marjanovic is averaging 6.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 55.4 percent from the field.

The two friends were known for their strong bond and comical hijinks while they were in Detroit and Los Angeles but for now, they face off as opponents.
