Hawks say he will remain on a load monitoring plan with bulk volume restrictions.

Reddish underwent a core muscle surgery back in May. He was initially given a 6-8 week timetable for recovery. Now, though, it sounds like the former Duke star is feeling much better. The Hawks will likely be cautious in their approach to his recovery, though, and he's expected to remain on “a load monitoring plan with bulk volume restrictions.”
Reddish played just one season at Duke alongside RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson. In his 36 appearances with the Blue Devils (35 starts), Reddish racked up averages of 13.5 points on 35.6 percent shooting from the field (33.3 percent from beyond the arc), 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals in 29.7 minutes per outing.

At this point, it's not clear what sort of role Reddish will serve with the Hawks. However, with Kevin Huerter dealing with knee pain and Allen Crabbe sidelined due to knee surgery, Cam could see more minutes at the shooting guard position.
Allen Crabbe has not been cleared to participate in the upcoming training camp and is expected to miss the entire preseason.

Touched on all in the story below but I missed tweeting about Kevin Huerter.
Had an MRI after reporting knee pain in late Aug.
Hawks treating him "to reduce inflammation and increase his load tolerance.
Update after camp but able to participate.https://t.co/BlUd0qrkqs

The Hawks finished the 2018-19 regular season campaign with a disappointing 29-53 overall record, which left the team well out of playoff contention.
