Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young has just treated the general public to an MTV Cribs-like tour of his brand new home.
Here's the 19-second video clip shared by Young himself on his Instagram account.
Alright, the MTV Cribs comparison was a bit of a stretch. Young has not exactly purchased a multi-million dollar mansion, nor does he have the coolest of furniture and fixtures. In fact, his new apartment is pretty much bare.
Young did clarify in the video that he was just moving in, which explains the lack of permanent fixtures. Nevertheless, the apartment does appear to have a good view of the city skyline. Judging by the outside scenery, Young's new pad seems to be on one of the top floors of the building.
Young's unit is also pretty expensive considering its location in the city. It appears that Young was not particularly being frugal when he decided on this particular apartment. Although this doesn't come as a surprise considering his gift to himself upon signing his rookie contract with the Hawks — an Audi R8.
A player's quality of life and comfort level definitely has an effect on one's overall output. Young looks like he has this part of being an NBA stud down.
The Hawks are betting big on the former Oklahoma standout, and expect him to step up as the team's cornerstone player within the next few years. Hopefully, Young is able to live up to the expectations and reaches his full potential as an NBA superstar.
