With the NBA on indefinite hiatus due to coronavirus (COVID-19), NBA stars are having to come up with creative ways to keep themselves occupied that don’t involve meeting their adoring fans.
Due the seemingly unknown nature of how this particular pandemic spreads, players are keeping indoors in order to protect themselves from exposure to the virus – especially after three NBA players (Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Christian Wood) contracted the illness.
One player, Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks, opted to keep his shooting form sharp by doing a mock 3-point contest with balled-up socks in his home. Making things more interesting, he was wearing particularly fitting garb: his All-Star jersey as a starting member of Team Giannis.

If the NBA season is truly over — which is becoming more and more likely as the number of infected rises — Young will finish with a sterling second season in the league and an impressive 36.1 percent clip from downtown. That is especially impressive considering he’s putting up 9.5 triples a game for the Hawks and frequently double-teamed.
