The high level of competition in professional basketball games sometimes causes players to become overly zealous during contests.

This was the case when former NBA player Pero Antic accidentally punched a teammate right in the face.

The 6-foot-11, 260-pound big man, now playing in the Turkish Basketball Super League with Fenerbahçe, was ecstatic after the referee gave the possession of the ball to his team. It was his teammate Nikola Kalinic that took the unintentional blow right on the nose, but the Serbian international appeared to be unfazed. Either that or he was putting on an extremely brave face for the cameras.

The 34-year-old Antic played in only two seasons in the NBA between 2013 and 2015 with the Atlanta Hawks. He has since moved overseas and seems to be getting along well with his new teammates.
