When the Boston Celtics signed Al Horford to a max contract last summer, they believed they already had the missing piece to their championship quest and that he would be their center of the future.

However, even with a 20-14 record, the Bean Town team is still not thought to be contenders to dethrone the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference as they have shown signs of inconsistency and lost winnable games.

They are also rumored to be making a move in acquiring Horford's former teammate with the Atlanta Hawks, Paul Millsap, through a trade, after it was reported that he has been made available by his team.

Millsap would definitely provide the C's with more size and another weapon to stretch the floor, but according to Horford's sister, Anna, what the team needs is a true center since her brother is better suited to play power forward, and also more reliable shooters to further improve their chances of winning a title.

The 30-year-old Florida product may have played majority of his career at the five spot, but he's definitely not a traditional center as he plays more facing the basket and shoots a lot of jumpers.

With Anna making her thoughts known publicly, it will be interesting to see if Danny Ainge will consider her opinion and try to make a move for a natural center. Should the Celtics be successful in adding one to their lineup, it might just be what they need to maximize Horford's talents and make a stronger case for contending in the coming years.
