With only a few hours before squaring up against their Eastern Conference foes, the Washington Wizards, for what's bound to be a very intense Game 7, Boston Celtics perimeter bloodhound Avery Bradley is already thinking big picture prior to the biggest game of his young career.

“We believe we should be playing against Cleveland, and beat Cleveland and go to the championship,” Bradley told Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe.

While the answer sends shockwaves given the task at hand, Bradley is surely playing and leading with confidence after a couple of subpar performances by his backcourt mate Isaiah Thomas, who got off to a stellar start to the series.

Thomas has only hit 13 of his 37 shot attempts (35 percent) in the last two games, considerably slowing down from his 53-point explosion in Game 2 of the series.

Bradley has stepped up in a major way, setting consecutive career-highs with 27 and 29-point outings in the last two games after netting a combined 12 points during losses in Games 3 and 4 of the series.

“It’s either go on vacation or leave everything out there on the floor, and that’s what I’m gonna do,” said Bradley. “That’s how I’m gonna play.”

Meanwhile, Cleveland is set for a return from its proverbial hibernation, having rested 10 full days before they set to meet the winner of tonight's Game 7, after sweeping the first two rounds of their Eastern Conference postseason run.

If the Celtics indeed take Game 7, as they are heavily favored to do at home at the TD Garden — they will face a major step up in competition care of the reigning NBA champs, who have focused on getting all the horses healthy and ready to go for a third consecutive run at the NBA Finals.
