Al Horford has always been known as a solid player, but his latest achievement is a testament to his continued progression with the Celtics.
Horford logged 29 minutes in Monday night's 112-104 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, scoring 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field, 11 rebounds, five assists, a whopping six blocks and one steal. It was his third consecutive double-double performance, marking the first time he's achieved that feat since joining the team.

All in all, the Celtics blocked 16 shots in Monday's game, which is good for a new franchise record. According to ESPN, the team's previous mark was set on Jan. 21, 1983, against the Chicago Bulls. 12 of Boston's blocks came in the first half alone, which matches the most by any team this season.

Horford has been playing great as of late. In his last six outings, the 32-year-old has averaged 17.8 points on 64.3% shooting and 9.2 rebounds.
“What's been clicking for you?” Horford was asked after Monday's game.
“I guess I'm just in a good rhythm right now,” Horford replied. “More importantly, we got the win.
“I felt good,” Horford added. “I'm just helping any way that I can and trying to do the right things on defense.”

Horford and the Celtics snapped Brooklyn's six-game winning streak with Monday's win. Boston's next shot at claiming a victory comes on Wednesday night, when they'll host the Charlotte Hornets inside TD Garden. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
