The Boston Celtics will be looking to bounce back in Game 2 after a brutal loss in the series opener to the Miami Heat. Marcus Smart is expected to return to the lineup after missing Game 1, while Derrick White is out due to the birth of his newborn. Al Horford meanwhile, was in health and safety protocols. There was some hope that he could be ready to play by Thursday night and the Celtics' latest move leaves some optimism for his status.

Horford struggled in the last three games of the Bucks series, but the Celtics veteran has played very well at times in the playoffs, even going off for 30 points in Game 4 vs. Milwaukee. So far in the postseason, he's averaging 13 points and 9.8 rebounds while shooting an impressive 45% from deep. The big man was previously listed as doubtful.

The Celtics are having some brutal luck with health right now, which isn't going to help them get past a very good Heat team. Horford might be older, but he's still valuable on both ends of the floor for Ime Udoka's squad. Getting him back in the rotation is huge.

Tip-off for Game 2 is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET at FTX Arena in South Beach as the Celtics aim to even up the series at one game apiece before heading back to Boston.
