The Boston Celtics are getting absolutely clobbered by the COVID-19 health and safety protocols as more than half their roster was forced into isolation. Things got even worse as point guard Dennis Schroder joins the lengthy list as well.

ESPN's Tim Bontemps reported on Dennis Schroder getting added to the Celtics's COVID-19 inactive list ahead of their Christmas day showdown against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Schroder is the 13th Celtic in the protocols at the moment, with four of them – Al Horford, Jabari Parker, Brodric Thomas and Juancho Hernangomez – questionable for today's game against Milwaukee. At least nine of them will be out, now including Schroder.

The Celtics' roster has been in a constant state of flux, which has made it very difficult for them to hit their stride on the basketball court. They haven't put together even just two wins in a row in their last 10 games.

The only silver lining is the fact that both star players in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown remain off the Covid-19 health and safety protocols list. Both Celtics stars are going to have to bring their A-game if they hope to upset the Milwaukee Bucks, who just got back Giannis Antetokounmpo after his own stint on the dreaded COVID-19 protocols list.
