Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics proved on Wednesday that they have the poise and grit needed to complete a come-from-behind win. Their victory against the Philadelphia 76ers wasn’t just any ordinary one, as they were able to turn things around in the second half and finished off with a win, despite being down by 22 points early in the game.
When asked how his team managed to do it, Stevens shared that they did not dwell on the stats a lot at that point. He also added that he did not see his players panic at all, as they all had confidence in still winning the game even if they were facing a huge deficit, as they have already done it before.
Brad Stevens and his guys didn't read too much into their 22-point, first-half deficit tonight. "We’ve come back before," he said. "There was no real panic."

As it turned out, the Celtics outscored the Sixers by 15 in the third quarter and by five points in the fourth, leading to their 114-103 win. Jaylen Brown finished the game with 21 points, to go along four rebounds, two assists and three steals, while Kyrie Irving pitched in 20 points, six rebounds, and seven assists of his own. Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, and Marcus Morris all scored in double figures, as the Celtics used a balanced scoring attack to get them the victory in London.
It was the seventh straight win for Brad Stevens' troops, helping them improve on their Eastern Conference-leading 34-10 record. With the win, the Celtics earned more breathing room over the Toronto Raptors who are trying to chase them for the top spot. The Sixers, on the other hand, ended their four-game winning streak and saw their win-loss slate drop to 19-20 for the season, currently good for ninth place in their conference.
