The loss is their second in a row and brought their standing to 7-6. While the Celtics have a decent 3-1 home record, they have a 4-5 win-loss record on the road. On their disappointing road-trip, Stevens said, per Joshua Schrock of NESN:

When you’re in the game you have a job to do on that possession, you do it. And then, if you do it over and over again, you have a good team.
Jayson Tatum led his team with 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting, along with five makes from downtown on nine attempts. He also had eight rebounds. Kyrie Irving had 21 markers on 9-of-24 shooting. As a team, the Celtics shot just 38.7 percent from the field.
The Blazers were up by a huge margin as the game went into halftime, 54-37, though come the fourth quarter, the Celtics went on a 13-2 run.
However, the Blazers managed to pull out a victory thanks to various contributions from All-Stars CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard, who had 14 and 19 points, respectively. Jusuf Nurkic also had a good night with 18 points and 17 rebounds.
This ends the Celtics' five-game road trip, a trip they ended with a 1-4 record. They will head back home to face the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
