Try to find someone that has something negative to say about Kemba Walker, that might just be as hard as finding a needle in a haystack. The former Charlotte Hornets point guard and current Boston Celtics floor general has left a great impression in most he's come in contact with.

Take for example Marvin Williams, who played with Walker for the past five seasons — one of the many former teammates that hugged Walker when the All-NBA point guard made his debut in Celtics green on Sunday in a preseason game against his old team.

“That’s our guy,” said Williams of Walker, according to Jay King of The Athletic. “He meant so much to this organization, to this team, to the city of Charlotte. You’ve gotta be forever grateful, man. I’m certainly blessed to have played with someone like that.”

During his tenure with the Hornets, Walker often shouldered the load for his team — often dropping a 40-point performance, but never boasting about it the next day. Williams describes him as simply “just kind of one of the guys.”

“That was the funniest thing. To watch him come into the training room and kind of loaf around the locker room, it was kind of comedy, man,” said Williams, who pointed at Walker's low-key personality. “I think guys just kind of like his personality. He’s an easy-going guy, man. For him to be a superstar in the league, he doesn’t have the personality I guess of a superstar. Kemba just goes with the flow.”

The Hornets lost their biggest star this offseason, yet no one seems to resent Walker, who's always been forthcoming with his intentions and awfully patient with the organization. Now in this new chapter of his career, Walker's camaraderie should play a strong contrast in what the Celtics experienced last season, coming off the turmoil surrounding Kyrie Irving.
