Tyler Erzberger of ESPN interviewed Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward on his Twitch stream and asked him who was more toxic, NBA players or League of Legend (LoL) players. Without hesitation, Hayward answered LoL players.
“Dude, definitely League players. 100,000% League players, man. League of Legends players are so toxic, I can't imagine being on a team in the NBA where they are as toxic as they are in League of Legends. Like if you missed a 3-pointer or something, everyone on the team starts flaming you.”

Certainly, trash talking is very prevalent on both platforms. But according to the Celtics star, it seems like he gets it worse on the online video game.
Article Continues BelowNBA players have expressed their boredom since the coronavirus outbreak led the league to suspend the 2019-20 season. Some players have been playing video games for what seems like ages already. Last week, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic hilariously admitted in a post on Twitter that he has been playing video games non-stop.
Meanwhile, others seem to be losing their minds, such as Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, who was filmed by his wife Ayesha while drinking wine through his face mask.
Though it's fun to see what players are going through in this sudden break from basketball, we fans certainly want to see them get back to court as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this crisis does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
The virus continues to spread like crazy all over the world. Many people across the globe are affected daily by the outbreak, while thousands have already lost their lives. Fortunately, NBA players are also doing their part to provide assistance for those in need.
