Jaylen Brown's breakout season is real. The Boston Celtics guard is averaging career-best numbers and percentages across the board. Nevertheless, the fourth-year wing is still aiming to get better.
Per Jay King of The Athletic, Brown said that one of his ongoing individual goals this season is to shoot over 80 percent from the charity stripe at the end of the season.

Celtics fans have to be thrilled about hearing this from one of their rising stars.
Article Continues BelowAs it stands, the Celtics talent is shooting 78.1 percent from the freethrow line through 34 games this season, which is easily a career-high. In his first three seasons, he shot just a combined 65.8 percent from the line.
Aside from averaging career-highs in points (19.9), rebounds (6.7), assists (2.3), and steals (1.2), Brown is also having the most efficient season of his career thus far. The 23-year old is currently shooting 48.8 percent from the field, while knocking down 39.0 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.
While some of his improved production can be attributed to a major bump in minutes, much of it has to do with his growing confidence on the floor. Likewise, Brown has also seen an increased role on the offensive end for the Celtics. And he has rewarded coach Brad Stevens with efficient play by taking smarter shots and getting better looks for himself, while also maintaining his elite play on the other end of the floor.
There have been many other players around the league who have shown major strides in their games this season. Brown is certainly on the shortlist of that group of guys and has certainly inserted himself in the conversation for Most Improved Player this year.
