Jaylen Brown has a side hustle. No, it's not something shady: far from it, in fact. The Boston Celtics star has been the vice-president of the NBA's Player Association for quite some time now. Brown has been excellent in his post as the VP, as he has helped elevate the association to new heights.
One of his duties as the vice-president of the NBPA is, of course, to guide his fellow players. Jaylen Brown, along with NBPA Executive Director Tamika Tremuglio, talked to the incoming batch of rookies in the league. The Celtics star congratulated the bunch, and gave them advice on the other side of professional basketball.

Being an NBA player isn't as easy as most people think it is. It's a cushy job that pays well, but it comes with a lot of pitfalls. There are countless stories of NBA players either being manipulated by their families or mismanaging their wealth to the point of bankruptcy. That is what Jaylen Brown, as well as the NBPA are trying to mitigate.
This year's rookie class is filled to the brim with potential superstars. The top three, in particular, stand out as the true cream of the crop. Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, and Jabari Smith are all intriguing talents that have the capacity to be the next big NBA star. Outside of the top five, you have guys like Jaden Ivey, Keegan Murray, Shaedon Sharpe, and countless other intriguing talents.
The Celtics didn't have a pick in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft. They did, however, draft JD Davison late in the second round, who got treated to a unique āhazingā by Jayson Tatum.
