Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown says “being positive is everybody’s mindset” on the team after what happened last season.

The Celtics were a dysfunctional group in 2018-19 and didn't live up to expectations.

Before the 2018-19 season started, everyone picked the Celtics to win the Eastern Conference. Boston, though, was never able to mesh on the court.

The Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second-round of the 2019 playoffs in five games. Brown and Marcus Morris got into it on the bench during a regular-season game against the Miami Heat in South Beach. All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving wasn't able to lead the group as the leader and was bashed for it by the media and fans.

It's a new vibe in Boston now, though. Irving, Al Horford, Terry Rozier and Morris are gone, while Kemba Walker, Enes Kanter and Taco Fall are in.

Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Morris are in Las Vegas together for Team USA training camp. The four Celtics teammates went to dinner on Sunday.

Boston fans have to love that the four guys are developing a rapport in Las Vegas, both on and off the court.

Brown averaged 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists last season while shooting 46.5 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from beyond the arc and 65.8 percent from the free-throw line. The swingman should see his usage rate go up next season with Irving and Horford gone.
