The Boston Celtics' nosedive continues – and Jaylen Brown is not at all pleased.

The Celtics hosted visiting Los Angeles Clippers on their home floor on Wednesday night and fell, 82-91.  Yes, Jayson Tatum has been out due to Covid-19 health and safety protocols. But the Clippers themselves didn't have their own best player in Paul George, arguably an even more central figure in LA's success this season sans Kawhi Leonard.

Jaylen Brown was vocal on his frustration after the game.

Via A. Sherrod Blakely:

“It's just a shitty game,” said the Celtics star. We wanted to come back and respond after not playing too well in Minnesota. We played hard but we ended up in a loss; that's it.”

Brown led the Celtics with 30 points, but how he got there was far from palatable. JB went 13-for-36 from the field, mainly due to an absolutely brutal 1-for-13 clip from the three-point line.

“Teams are daring us to take shots (vs zone defense),” Brown continued. “We should make teams pay when they go in a zone, things like that. We're in the NBA. We didn't make enough shots to compete and we were still in the game.”

The Boston Celtics have now dropped to 16-19, three games under .500 and under threat of falling out of the play-in picture all together.
