The Boston Celtics stumbled anew as they narrowly lost to the rebuilding Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. After absorbing the tough defeat, Celtics star Jaylen Brown shed light on his team's ongoing struggles and urged his teammates to play with more hunger, especially as they head to the remaining 10 games of the regular season, per Jay King.

Brown's running mate in Jayson Tatum didn't see action on Tuesday night as he is currently nursing a left ankle injury. They definitely missed his production on the floor which gave the Celtics a hard time fending off a hungry Thunder squad that was trying to avoid their worst losing streak in franchise history.

Oklahoma City then took advantage of his absence and used a 41-point outburst in the final frame to run away with a 119-115 victory to snap their 14-game losing streak. Brown exploded for 39 points and 11 rebounds while rookie Payton Pritchard tallied a career-best 28 points against the Thunder. After their loss, the Celtics dropped to a 32-30 record for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference.

As of the moment, Boston is still in the running for a spot in the playoffs though they can't relax too much as they are currently tied with the Miami Heat, who own an identical win-loss tally at the seventh seed.

Amid their struggles, the Celtics are looking forward to having better performances once Jayson Tatum gets back on the floor in their coming games. Hopefully, Jaylen Brown's message will be picked up by the rest of the team as they seek to finish the regular season on a strong note.
