Irving's actually tally came out to be 26 points, 10 assists, and five steals. His contributions came in their 124-107 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

But in his recent game, he showcased his ability to distribute the ball and play some defense as well. For the season, Irving is averaging 21.7 points, 6.2 assists, and 1.7 steals. So far, this is his career-best in terms of steals and assists.

Some say that he might be burned out, especially that his team is struggling as of late. But per Tim Bontempts of ESPN, Irving made it clear that he loves the game and wants to win as many rings as possible:
“Putting our bodies on the line, understanding kind of the mental strain you put on just trying to be great every single day, and just literally putting the ball in the hoop better than you did yesterday. It comes at a price, but it's what we all signed up [for], and it's a sacrifice I'm willing to take for as long as possible in order to win as many championships and be as successful as I can.”
Kyrie Irving and the Celtics are trying to find their groove after a tough start, and perhaps the big win over the Pelicans will boost them.
