The Boston Celtics host the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. The team is listing shooting guard Marcus Smart as probable and backup point guard Terry Rozier as out.

Both Smart and Rozier are dealing with illnesses. It looks like Rozier has the worst of it.

The Celtics are coming off a productive 3-1 road trip. They defeated the Golden State Warriors, Kings and Los Angeles Lakers, and fell to the LA Clippers.

Boston is 41-27 on the season, which is good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. It's been an up and down season for the C's, but they may have turned the corner during the road trip.

Smart has appeared in 67 games this season. The rugged defender is averaging 8.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Rozier, meanwhile, is putting up 9.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. The scoring guard is shooting 38.9 percent from the floor, 35.7 percent from the 3-point line and 80.2 percent from the foul line.

The Celtics just defeated the Kings, but Boston has to come out and match Sacramento's energy. The Kings are fighting for their playoff lives right now and are a team which pushes the pace at every turn.
