Marcus Smart has found his playoff life not so different from his non-playoff one.
ESPN's Chris Forsberg told the story of how his mom, Camellia; who is battling cancer, called him up after Game 1 of the series against the Philadelphia 76ers. Toward the end of the game, Smart and Ben Simmons got into a bit of an altercation, and Camellia wasn't happy about it.

“She tells me breathe and keep going and know that's what people are going to try to do, get in my head, and force me to do those type of things, Smart said.
As much as Smart might not like the yelling from his mother, he is just happy to have her around. Just a few weeks ago when Smart was rehabbing from injury his mother revealed to him that she had myelodysplastic syndrome; a bone marrow cancer, and Smart flew back to Texas to be with her.
Smart thought about not coming back to the team this year, but his mom told him that he needed to go back because seeing him back on the court would be the best medicine for her.
If the Celtics continue to win, and Smart continues to play a big role that is going to be some very good medicine for Camellia as she continues her fight.
