Getting drafted into the NBA is a dream come true for college players. Apparently, Boston Celtics rookie Robert Williams is still living in that dream.

In an interview with CLNS Media reporter Chris Grenham, Williams claimed that he is so out of it that he has lost track of the days of the week.

This could be a bit alarming for Celtics fans to hear from their first-round pick. While he was more than likely exaggerating (hopefully), most fans would want to hear that this guy is hard at work improving his game, not in a constant daze.

The rookie started off on the wrong foot with his new team, showing up late to his teams first practice. He then proceeded to miss further practices, causing a mini-drama before he had even played an NBA minute.

Thankfully, it seems like he has rebounded from the rough start, and has made the Celtics roster. However, Williams has yet to make an impact for the Celtics. He has played in 16 games for them, averaging three points a game along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.

The Celtics could certainly use a player like Williams, as the team is short on big bodies. Behind Al Horford, the Celtics currently only have Daniel Theis, as Aron Baynes is dealing with a broken hand.

Hopefully, Williams can get his schedule together and make an impact on a playoff bound team his rookie year.
