Boston Celtics backup point guard Terry Rozier agrees with head coach Brad Stevens' assessment that he could be utilized better on offense.

Rozier is averaging just 5.5 points against the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs while shooting a dismal 26.9 percent from the field and 14.3 percent from beyond the arc.

The Celtics are down 1-3. Their season could end on Wednesday.

“I feel like he explained it,” Rozier said, via Tom Westerholm of Mass Live. “So we’ll see what his game plan is and just go from there.

“I’d rather let coach figure it out. That’s his job, and just go out there and try to impact the game as much as I can. As far as the adjustments he’ll make, I’ll be ready for them.”

The entire 2018-19 season has been a struggle for Rozier. The rugged defender started for the Celtics in the 2018 playoffs since Kyrie Irving was out and he played well. Going back to his bench role this season has been difficult for Rozier, who becomes a restricted free agent this summer.

During the regular season, Rozier put up 9.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists. He shot 38.7 percent from the floor, 35.3 percent from the 3-point line and 78.5 percent from the charity stripe.
