The Boston Celtics are coming into the 2018-19 season with high expectations, and rightfully so. After Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum filled in masterfully in the absences of Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, the team is one of the deepest in the Eastern Conference and is fully expected to make another run at an NBA Championship this season.

Rozier is one player who, following his career year, will have to revert back to the Celtics bench upon the return of Irving, who is expected to be back in time for the start of the season. For most players, a change like that can lead to some frustrating moments as they're no longer getting the minutes or are a main point of the offense as they once were.

According to Chris Forsberg of ESPN, however, Rozier is not worried one bit about coming off the bench because he knows how special the team can be if they're able to put it all together.

“We can be special. Truly special. I think you know that. I think everybody knows… We're good on paper, we've just gotta get it together and make sure everybody comes in, has that same mindset, but I feel like it’s going to be a special group.”

With Irving out for the 2018 postseason, Rozier led the Celtics with 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.7 three-pointers per game on 40.6 percent shooting from the field and 34.7 percent from beyond the arc. As a shorthanded unit, Boston came just one game away from the NBA Finals, but were unable to overcome the greatness of LeBron James.

As you may or may not have heard, however, James is no longer in the Eastern Conference. As it stands right now, the conference is Boston's to lose supposing they stay healthy, which is much easier said than done.
