As the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers prepare to meet in Europe for the NBA's eighth annual London Global Game, Terry Rozier is already building his team's confidence for the global affair.
According to Stuart Ballard of the Express, Rozier made some confident claims that the Celtics will defeat the Sixers, while making a case for fans in London to cheer for them.
“I think we understand the fanbase we have in London and how they are over there. I know we’re going to go over there and have a lot of fun and put on a show for the people. It’s going to be a hard nosed game definitely. We’re going out there to have fun but when that ball is tossed in the air it’s going to be a great match-up.”
Terry Rozier is currently averaging 9.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game for the Celtics, who are the current owners of the best record in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, the Sixers are currently ninth in the East standings.
Despite their win-loss record, the Sixers remain a very dangerous team. However, Rozier doesn't believe that the Celtics' opponents stand a chance.
“It’s going to be two teams battling to win and we’ll put on a great show for the fans. We have a great history and not knocking the 76ers because they’re a great team, but I think the fans are going to find out why they should support us over the 76ers come when we play them in London.”
