Basketball camps with NBA players are not all fun and games for the participants. In a camp featuring Jayson Tatum, a kid got his ankles broken by a crossover courtesy of the Boston Celtics rising star.

As observed, the other kids at camp went crazy after Tatum dropped his defender. Tatum then easily slammed the ball into the ring.
Are these some of the moves that Tatum learned from Kobe Bryant himself? For those of you who are not aware, photos of Tatum training with the Los Angeles Lakers great resurfaced recently.
But prior to making it to the NBA, Tatum already looked up to Bryant as his idol. Drew Hanlen even has a video of Tatum imitating Bryant's move and showed it to the Black Mamba himself.
Speaking on “The Sidelines with Evan Daniels” podcast, Hanlen shared what Bryant told him when he showed Tatum mimicking the Black Mamba's patented moves:
“It was cool,” Hanlen said. “We actually showed Kobe it yesterday and he was like, ‘Why didn’t the Lakers draft him?’, which was pretty funny, after seeing that.”
Now, it looks like the tables have been turned. Tatum is slowly on the rise as an NBA star.
