The Boston Celtics were able to secure their first playoff victory tonight against the Atlanta Hawks. With a commanding 111-103 triumph, the Celtics team earned head coach Brad Stevens his very first playoff victory for his career, improving to 1-2.

Last year, the Celtics were swept early by the Cleveland Cavaliers where they went on to the NBA Championship.

Much of the victory can be credited to point guard Isaiah Thomas, shooting for 42 points. What is crazy is the fact that Thomas is a mere 5′ 9″, one of the shortest players in the postseason currently.

Hopefully the team can rally a comeback effort and get more wins for Brad Stevens.
