Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas had a coming out party during the 2016-17 season, finishing third in scoring with a 28.9 points per game clip while putting up plenty of flamethrower-like performances through 76 games played this season. But, despite his many accolades, he's also known to be a horrendous on-ball defender, which is why many were surprised to see him garner a single vote in the NBA All-Defensive Team voting.

Thomas' name is right at the bottom of the list, in between Austin Rivers and Cody Zeller.

The voting pool consists of 100 national NBA writers (non-local/beat writers), but something suggests that by that vote, one of those writers wears an eyepatch or has a simple disregard for the All-Defensive team portion of the ballot.

There's no player worse on defense than Thomas, and the numbers prove it. He finished in the very bottom of defensive points saved, dead last in defensive box plus-minus for players that played at least 2,000 minutes, and at the very cellar among point guards in ESPN's Defensive Real plus-minus.
