The Boston Celtics are currently sitting on a 3-3 record to start the season and are looking to find consistency in their game in order to string a few wins together.

The C's suffered their worst defeat of the young season against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday and head coach Brad Stevens called out his players especially on the way they played defense. And now, the team's All-Star point guard is doing the same.

Isaiah Thomas was interviewed by reporters after the game and was asked why the team has not been consistent and what has caused their defense to be lackluster so far. The 27-year-old admitted that there are a lot of things they still need to work on and that the Celtics are lacking something that makes them play better.

Thomas could not contain his frustration with the results they've had so far and even went as far as saying that the team are not playing to their potential on defense.

“At this point, we're all talk [on defense]”

The Celtics will have their prized recruit of the summer, Al Horford, back in the lineup in the next couple of days after being placed on the NBA's concussion protocol. His return will be a big boost to the team and he is expected to anchor the defense especially inside the paint.

They also have two days of rest which can serve them well as they can use it to watch more videos of their previous games and also practice their defensive sets. They will look to bounce back with a win on Wednesday when they travel to the nation's capital and face the Washington Wizards.
