Boston Celtics‘ forward Jae Crowder is known for his hard-nosed defense and hustle on the court. During his team's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night, he showed it once again by diving for the ball and trying to save it to his teammate.

The only problem was, a fan holding an infant was seated where the ball was heading to. The father saw the whole sequence and was able to put his arm in front of him, preventing the 6-foot-6 wingman from hitting his child.

Fortunately, Crowder was able to regain his balance in time and the infant remained unharmed.

It turned out to be a double-win on the night for Crowder and company as the Celtics won the game, 99-93, and improved their record to 8-6 for the season.
