The red-hot Boston Celtics are set to host the lowly Atlanta Hawks at TD Garden on Friday night, and the Hawks decided to have some fun with it poking fun of a certain well-known accent:

Not to be outdone, the Celtics responded with… a calculator?

I'm not necessarily sure just how to decode what Boston was trying to say in response, and based on the fact that the Celtics' reply was so ambiguous, I'm going to have to go ahead an say that Atlanta won this round.

Of course, it might be tough for them to actually win on the court Friday evening.

The Celtics and Hawks first met back on Nov. 23, a 114-96 blowout victory for Boston in Atlanta. After losing to the Dallas Mavericks the next night, the C's have since proceeded to win seven straight games, with five of those wins coming by double figures.

Included in the Celtics' recent surge was a 56-point win over the Chicago Bulls last Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have been, well, not good.

In what even the most rabid Hawks fan knew was a rebuilding season, Atlanta is currently just 6-21 and has lost five of its last six games. Most recently, the Hawks fell to the Mavericks by a score of 114-107 on Wednesday night.

One silver lining for Atlanta is that Boston is not 100 percent healthy at the moment. Al Horford will likely be sidelined for this contest due to a knee issue, and both Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown are getting over illnesses. Hayward has missed the last two games, and Brown was in street clothes during the Celtics' win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
