The Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks took the floor for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday afternoon in what turned out to be a highly entertaining contest. This featured a tight battle in the waning moments of the fourth quarter.
The teams had traded baskets in the waning moments of the period that led to a crazy finish to the quarter. The first came with a three-pointer by Celtics guard Terry Rozier after crossing over Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe on the play leaving just 0.5 seconds.
Article Continues BelowThe Bucks were able to miraculously force the contest into overtime after forward Khris Middleton was able to get off and drain a deep 3-pointer from well beyond the arc before the buzzer.
It was an entertaining back-and-forth sequence that saw each team pull off clutch shots to force the game into overtime where the Celtics were able to edge the Bucks after both Bledsoe and Giannis Antetokounmpo each fouled out. Rozier was huge as he recorded eight points and an assist in the overtime period to seal a huge Game 1 win.
The two teams are set to take the floor again at TD Garden on Tuesday night in what could be another hotly contested matchup.
