Following the Brooklyn Nets' thrilling 120-119 overtime victory against the Detroit Pistons, Andre Drummond had a few things to say about Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie.

According to the Pistons big man, Dinwiddie holds a personal grudge against the Pistons, which may explain why the latter was absolutely balling on Wednesday night.

Dinwiddie came off the Nets bench to claim game-high honors (tied with Pistons forward Blake Griffin) with 25 big points. More importantly, he led his team to the tightly contested victory by also chipping in five 3-pointers, four rebounds, and four assists in 32 minutes of action.

Dinwiddie made some clutch baskets on Wednesday, sinking a 26-foot trey bomb in the dying seconds of regulation to send the game into overtime. With seven seconds remaining in the extra period, the 25-year-old point guard connected on a go-ahead 3-pointer that effectively handed the victory to the home team.

Drummond and Dinwiddie were teammates in Detroit between 2014 and 2016. After being drafted 38th overall by the Pistons in 2o14, Dinwiddie spent two forgettable seasons in the Motor City before being traded to the Chicago Bulls in 2016. After being waived by the Bulls, the Colorado alumni signed with the Nets in December 2016, and the rest, as they say, is history.

As Andre Drummond pointed out, Spencer Dinwiddie obviously has some extra motivation whenever he faces his former team. He certainly feels he has something to prove, and based on his recent performance, he has made it clear that the Pistons may have made a mistake in letting him go in the first place.
