Brooklyn Nets star James Harden knows the Milwaukee Bucks are no easy opponent. But he's aware of just how good this Nets team is, too.
On the eve of Game 1 on Saturday, the Beard spoke on the Bucks' revamped roster this season and how they've been playing tremendous basketball all season long.
‘They’ve had their core and then they added some really good pieces, which is why they’ve been one of the best teams all year. But if you look at our roster, we’re elite, too. And it’s going to be a showdown,' the Nets guard said, via AP's Brian Mahoney:
It certainly will be a showdown. The Nets are still the favorites to win it all especially after the Lakers were knocked out on Thursday night, but Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks pose a serious threat.
Article Continues BelowThey just soared past the Miami Heat in four games and are playing extremely good basketball right now. The Nets are going to have a tough time slowing down the Greek Freak, but with their own superstar trio, even the Bucks' defense will have problems containing them.
Harden, meanwhile, is going to be the key in this series since his versatility on the offensive end sets the tone for every single player on the Nets roster. He'll need to continue to play at a high level if the Nets are going to advance to the Conference Finals and keep their title hopes alive.
