Brooklyn Nets veteran Jared Dudley has made it clear he plans to play at least two more seasons in the NBA before contemplating on his next career move.

Dudley has built a reputation as a hardworking role player throughout the course of his 11 years in the league.
His NBA journey began when he was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, then Bobcats, in 2007. He was then traded to the Phoenix Suns where he had the most success in his career, becoming an integral part of the team's offense which was ran by Steve Nash.
Article Continues BelowDudley was part of the Suns franchise from 2008 to 2013 before having brief stints with the LA Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards. He returned to Phoenix to play two more seasons there before ending up with the Nets last summer.
Dudley has been focused on mentoring Brooklyn's young core, and he's also been sharing some of his knowledge with the team's coaching staff. He's playing an important role for the Nets that's beyond the numbers he produce when he's playing on the court.
He has career averages of 7.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists. For the season, he's putting up 4.7 points, 2.7 boards and 1.4 dimes per contest.
If Dudley does end up playing two more seasons, he could be a useful asset to any contending team, as he's still a capable shooter and a decent defender. With Brooklyn on a rebuilding phase, they will likely go after bigger names this summer, which means Dudley's future with the Nets after this season is uncertain.
