Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant and his rabid activity on social media are making the wrong kind of headlines again, which at this point, is no longer surprising. This time around, KD decided to ferociously clap back (again) at a random Twitter user who called him out over his alleged social media beef with Team USA teammate Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat.
First, some context. Durant and Adebayo had a bit of a confrontation during Team USA practice on Thursday over a basketball. The issue escalated to Twitter wherein Durant called Adebayo out. The Heat big man responded with a fiery counterpunch, which all in all, just felt like some friendly banter between teammates.
KD then went on to post a screenshot of a popular Drake song titled “Can't Take a Joke” on his Twitter account. This appeared to be Durant's way of responding to the backlash he received over the Adebayo issue. It looks like the Nets star confirmed that he was just joking around with Bam and that the backlash from the fans was unwarranted.

Unsurprisingly, this prompted even more unsavory comments from a myriad of keyboard warriors. For some reason, Durant decided to clap back at one of them, which again, has become a pretty normal act from KD. Here's the exchange:
Y’all just weirdly obsessed with what my motives and desires are.

Not really sure what to make of all this at this point. I mean, KD isn't wrong about the fans always being all over him for pretty much everything he does on social media. Then again, to some degree, you could also say that it sometimes feels that it's Durant himself who fuels all the hate with his questionable activity on the mean streets of Twitter (and Instagram).
What is clear, though, is this: Kevin Durant is absolutely one of the most polarizing figures in the history of the NBA.
