Kevin Durant is one of the greatest offensive players the NBA has ever seen, and one can definitely say he's among the best one-on-one players in the history of the game. However, it seems the Brooklyn Nets star isn't happy with just that.

When NBA reporter Ben Stinar shared his view that KD “is in the top 3 one-on-one players to ever play the game,” the Nets star felt disrespected. For him, it was a “slight” that he's only considered in the Top 3.

Perhaps Kevin Durant wanted to be no. 1? All players are like that anyway, motivated to become the best player in the league, in their positions or in various categories set by fans, experts and the media alike.

However, is Durant saying he's better than Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan as a one-on-one player? Or does he think he's on the same level as the two? Maybe. However, it is clear he thinks he should be rated higher on Stinar's list.

There is no doubting Durant's ability as a scorer, but his place among all the great offensive talents and one-on-one players is subject for debate. His career is far from over, though, and he still has plenty of chances to prove to everyone that he has what it takes to be the best.
