The Scary Hours have been on hold for the Brooklyn Nets, against the Cleveland Cavaliers at least. The Nets Big Three of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving have yet to notch their first win as a trio after they lost their second straight outing to the Cavaliers on Friday night.
Irving, who just recently returned from his two-week hiatus, spoke about the back-to-back defeats and admitted these have been “humbling” for their squad.

After Cavs guard Collin Sexton went berserk against Brooklyn on Thursday with a 42-point masterpiece, including dropping 20 straight points in the overtime sessions, the Nets fell to 0-2 on their Cleveland road trip after losing, 125-112.
This certainly isn't the way Brooklyn envisioned its Big Three era to start. Nevertheless, the Nets shouldn't push any panic buttons just yet considering this is just their second game together.
Obviously, this is the first time these three superstars are playing alongside each other. Like all other newly-formed squads in the NBA, they will need time to gel and get to know each other's tendencies.
The Nets obviously don't have many problems on offense, considering they have three of the most prolific scorers in the NBA today. But they do have a glaring concern on defense after they gave up an average of 136 points to the Cavaliers in two games.
Brooklyn is undoubtedly a top contender to win this year's championship. But there will be growing pains as they get through the early beginnings of their journey together. It certainly won't be easy, with the lofty expectations surrounding this Nets team, and the scrutiny that they may get when the road gets bumpy.
