Charlotte Hornets swingman Miles Bridges may not exactly be vying for this season's Rookie of the Year award, but at least he is confident that his progress as a rookie has been outstanding thus far.

So it’s just a mental aspect where you need to be strong mentally to be able to play in the NBA, especially as a rookie. I feel I overcame the rookie wall and I feel like I am going to play great for the rest of the season.”
Bridges has been able to put together a string of noteworthy performances of late.
Over the past four games, the 20-year-old is averaging 10.3 points (on 60.7 percent shooting), 0.8 three-pointers, 3.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.5 blocks, and just 0.3 turnovers in 18.3 minutes of the Charlotte bench.
The Hornets have won three of those past four games, and the energy and firepower Bridges is able to bring to the second unit have been pivotal in the team's recent run.
Charlotte currently has a 22-24 record, and are holding on to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
