The Dallas Mavericks look to build more momentum this Wednesday night, as they put their two-game win streak on the line versus the visiting Miami Heat at American Airlines Center.

The Mavs are gaining confidence, and the presence of Anthony Davis should bolster their belief that they can win their third consecutive victory.

Davis, who missed a lot of games already in the 2025-26 NBA season, was spotted working out on the court just before the meeting with the Heat, as seen in a video shared by Mavericks reporter Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints.

Adding to the hype for Davis is the fact that this will also just be his first home game for Dallas since the Mavericks' 107-105 win over the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 29. Davis barely saw action in that contest, as he left in the first quarter injured and did not return, scoring just four points with four rebounds and two turnovers in seven minutes.

When healthy, Davis can take over a game on both ends of the floor, and that's what the Mavericks hope he will do against the Heat.

He left Dallas fans impressed with his performance in the team's previous game, as the former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick had 32 points and 13 rebounds to go with four assists and two blocks while shooting 13-for-23 from the floor in a 131-121 victory over Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on the road last Monday.

A win over the Heat can also bolster the Mavericks' belief that they can pull off a stunner on Friday, when they hit the road and visit the reigning NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder at Paycom Center.
